My Name is Taremwa Albert and I am the President and CEO of Local Sustainable communities Organisation (LOSCO)

I do recommend the tireless efforts the world has put in to avert the COVID-19 pandemic which has raveged the lives of many people. 

This is one of the many things that we should have done from the start, Joining our hands together for the common person that is always left in the backyard.

Its not to stop at COVID-19 but the same efforts can be extended to fight another rampant pandemic called CORRUPTION!!! Its a fight that has to be handled collectively.

I call upon leaders at all levels from all walks of life to join hands in the fight against this animal too.

I have had an opportunity to move through the villages where Poverty stricken Households are confined in their homes with out food and basic necessities and WITHOUT HOPE!
If you are a Leader out there with a passion for Humanity, please extend your $, UGX, KSHs, TZSHs, Pound, Euro to help this ailing life for the good of our Nation and the World as a whole.

07. Aims and objectives of the Organization:

LOSCO is working towards achieving the following objectives for the benefit of its target group the poor, socially and economically deprived people.

F To bring social reforms in communities through training and sensitisation of individuals and masses

F To promote social Justice in all spheres of life such as education, health, recreation, and employment, child protection and training in positive parenting and rights and responsibilities of children and PWDs.

F To motivate and empower people in various socio-economic sectors for their arousal and working for community welfare and betterment of humanity.

F To do all such other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of those objects.

HISTORY OF LOSCO

Local Sustainable Communities Organisation is a Non-Governmental not for Profit Organization. 

It was established on 8^th February, 2018 by the General Meeting at Kabale Town, attended by Church leaders and elite persons from Kabale District Local Government. 

This NGO was formed according to the willingness of the community people in a view to deal with the present socio-economic problems in different areas by means of good understanding and sharing the problems each other and to find out the best way of solving them through free discussion and people participation in the decision making and get-together under an umbrella of LOSCO Organization. 

Partnership was identified as a key factor in the development process with both internal and external NGO’s and Donors as well as other government agencies.
